Colin grew up in Christchurch and was introduced to KiwiHost workshops whilst working at the movie theatre. Colin’s passion is for the outdoors and after studying Adventure Tourism and Adventure Education he merged his interest in the outdoors and his retail experience by managing an outdoor clothing and equipment store in Rotorua.
Colin then moved to London and worked as the Assistant Manager in an adventure travel store. After London Colin moved to the greener pastures of Scotland and worked as an Event Co-ordinator and Team Facilitator for an event management company. Upon returning to New Zealand and conducting a short tour of the country Colin decided to settle down again in Christchurch and started here at KiwiHost. Outside of work Colin enjoys getting into the outdoors, especially white water kayaking. Colin is also an officer in the Air Training Corps, a youth training organisation which he has been involved with for the last 15 years.
